This walk through will show you how to configure Outlook to work with your email address.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-dots\" id=\"start\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you start<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t already, you will want to create an email address with your email hosting account. You can find information on that process <a href=\"https:\/\/christianwebhost.com\/support\/email-help-guides\/email-accounts\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1133\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will first need to ensure you have the correct password for the account. This will either be a drop down menu or a checkbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you have the drop down menu, select SSL\/TLS.<\/li><li>If there is the checkbox that states &#8216;This server requires an encrypted connection&#8217;, make sure it is checked.<\/li><li>&#8216;Require log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)&#8217; should <strong>not <\/strong>be checked.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have updated these settings, click on Nest in the lower right. You will now be prompted for your email password. After you enter the password, Outlook should now test the settings. Once it completes, you can click on Finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations! You&#8217;ve just set up Outlook with your new email address. Outlook should now test the settings.
